Broadband Payable over the counter

At the moment I only have a basic deposit account (for complex reasons I wont go into) and I have a couple of irons in the fire at the moment regarding opening a basic bank account.
Does anyone know of an ISP that will give me an ADSL connection and let me pay cash over the counter at any bank?
I thought I had it sussed with NTL this morning but they will let me pay over the counter for phone or TV but not for Broadband.
Stuart.

Co-op dont have a branch in this town and being disabled it would be impossible to get over there and back so its a no-no. Already working on a couple of banks for basic accounts0

Possibly not a problem. The Co-op operate a full telephone based service 24/7 (from the UK). They'll send all necessary forms by post etc. You can also use your local Post Office for easy cash withdrawals and deposits by cash or cheque - and there must be one of those near you. All you need is your basic bank account card. The Co-op basic account is pretty useful due to the direct debit option.
Given the limited number of broadband providers available to you, another option would be the Splash Plastic "360Money" card. This is a top-up style maestro card. You can top up with cash at any post office or paypoint agent - and as far as the broadband supplier you choose are concerned, you are paying by maestro card.
Splash Plastic have two options - a pay-as-you-go card with a £7 annual fee and 25p per transaction fee, or a monthly fee version costing £1.50 per month but no per transaction fee. These seems cheaper than the "non credit/debit card payment" fees some broadband suppliers charge - and many don't even seem interested if you don't want to pay by either direct debit or debit/credit card.
You can apply online at 360money.com, but you will need to buy a SPLASH PLASTIC E-VOUCHER from a paypoint agent before applying.0 -
Cheddar. tell me how you got NTL on over the counter as they say I can have it here and pay over the counter for phone and TV but the Broadband must on on DD.
I have pointed out that its not in there FAQ's but still waiting for a call back on that subject.0 -
I'm fairly sure that discountadsl.co.uk let you pay by standing order so I guess a direct deposit each month as as good as that although I'm not sure how an someone getting a payment of that type would be able to know it was from you?Tight fisted accountant since birth.0

I actually found the reason why some people can pay over the counter and some cant for NTL Broadband.
Your allowed to pay over the counter if the broadband connects through the TV box but not if you just want the broadband on its own.0
