totalsolutions could you explain in laymans terms how you are managing to download programmes from bbc iplayer to your ipod touch, ie not streaming over wifi.
I had a look at the website you mentioned but its all double dutch to me.

Right then.
Go to bbc/iplayer and find a program you want. Look in the address line (URL) and copy the alphanumeric text in the middle of the line (qs76uwcl)
That's the programme ID you need.
Run the program you downloaded ipdl.exe from the web site. Its half way down under Windows GUI
Paste the ID into the text bar
Click download0
