As stated above there is no option to save OpenOffice Draw files as bitmaps. However if saved as a .odg file it can be copied into an OO Writer file and saved as a .doc or .docx. The problem is that on occasion - and somewhat unpredictably - formatting can be lost. The best option all round is to export the work as a .pdf file direct from OO Draw - simply using the PDF button on the taskbar. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
The only problem is 'correcting ' the home work .
Exporting as a PDF works
Viewing ( using free Foxit ) works
But editing !! ( correcting ) would need ?? a PDF editor
Is there a free version.
The home work this morning only needed a small change ,
she used $ instead of £ , but I had to do it the Open Office suite.
I know there is a lot of happy Open Office users , always going on how wonderful it is . But when you get Ms Office cheaply .. Education user , finding a pupil
using Open office has given me ( us :rotfl:) food for thought this morning.0 -
For a veriety of reasons I maintain both MS Office and OpenOffice on my works laptop. They seem to coexist without issue and the fact that OO is entirely free makes it something of a no brainer. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
