  • A cappuccio is a foam topped drink although i'm not sure of the ratio of foam. You'd be better off asking for americano which has no foam as its topped up with hot water and a little milk as required or a latte is all milk and has a little foam depending on the server but is weak so you may like an exta coffee shot. Or you could simply just ask for no foam on whatever you order

Cappuccinos are made with much more foam than lattes; Starbucks standards dictate half milk, half foam. A dry cappuccino has more foam, a wet cappuccino has less. There's a fine line between a very wet cappuccino and an extra-foam latte.

    there we go

plus the dirty diesel drivers had to fill their cars round the side of the petrol station :D
  • Those, like me, who mystery shop Starbucks, have to weigh the coffee and take its temperature. Sad to say I don't have the weight chart on this computer. However, if your coffee feels light, ask them to check the weight! - they should have the facilities. If I, as a MSer, can tell the moment I pick a cup up whether it meets the standards, their baristas certainly should know!
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

There were 12 pennies (d) in a shilling. So that was about 4p, ie 10/12 of a shilling, or 24 of them in a pound.

Sorry to correct you pmduk but there were 20 shillings to £1.00 which was equal to 240d (pennies) with each shilling being equal to 12d

I have the filter coffee - add my own milk from their jugs and get a free refill if I want to buzz all day. Happy bunny!!

free refills? on filter coffees? Never knew that one! Is that Starbucks?

The actual amount of coffee is measured, and it goes in before the foam/milk goes on top. The coffee element is a shot of very strong essprsso.

Yes - I had a choice of 2 coffees, and free refills when I had finished. Went for a small mug, had a second, and was a bit 'buzzy' when I left:rotfl:
