I am a tea drinker at heart but occasionally like to treat myself to coffee at costa or starbucks. WEnt last week to starbucks and ordered a skinny capuccino-medium. as i picked it up I thought it felt a bit light and as I waited for it to cool and the foam got less I saw that the carton was acyally only a third coffee and the rest foam. As i dont have these very often wondered if this is the norm. I was going to take it back and ask but didnt want to look stupid but would be interested in what your opinion is.

No, sorry but you were done.
Usually i get about 1 third or less foam. If you had have complained they would probably have just given you another and apologised. It was obviously a mistake. The Summer Holiday of a Lifetime0 -
you should have gone back
as someone who buys fairly often i know roughly what they should weigh
never a problem getting them redone
same if sometimes they have left the milk too long and it gives a taint
lets be hinest, its a premium product/price and as such you should expect a product to match0 -
No different from the 'froffy coffy' in the 1960s coffee bars. And that was a ruddy shilling...thieving gits...a coke was only 10d0

1/3 coffee is correct.
But it should have been 1/3 milk and 1/3 foam.
Think of it this way - a shot of coffee always comes out of the machine the same size. They'd have had to pour some away for you to be short-changed on coffee.
My guess is it was the milk you didn't get enough of.
P.S. : just goes to show - Starbucks are evil!My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
thanks all. At least if I do go back there I will know I have been given an inadequate bit of milk or whatever!0

I have the filter coffee - add my own milk from their jugs and get a free refill if I want to buzz all day. Happy bunny!!0

Can you translate,im not of the old money brigade,i recognise the shilling...(5p) i think im correct, but what on earth is 10d?Forum spellcheckers are the pitts.0 -
There were 12 pennies (d) in a shilling. So that was about 4p, ie 10/12 of a shilling, or 24 of them in a pound.0
