  • just purchased a SEBO X4 pet. after having dysons for years and did have an animal dyson also.
best hoover ever its hard to explain but if that how my carpets should look after hoovering them the dyson wasnt wokring properly.
the SEBO X4 pet moves the power brush up and down to the correct level automaticaly. obviously its bagged but ive got to say it well worth every penny expecially as my other half suffers badly with asthma.
do a search for SEBO and see all the good reviews
if we didnt get the SEBO we were going to get the miele cat and dog but decided to go for the SEBO in the end as it came with a 5 year parts and labour warranty and the meile only 2 years allthough you could extend it.

Which rated it as best as well. They refused to rate Dyson because the Dysons needed too many repairs

Last month we were lucky (or unlucky) enough to help out a pet-owning relative who was recovering from an operation and couldn't do her routine housework.

On the basis of all the advertising hype, she had bought herself a Dyson.

We expected that it would far exceed the performance of the vac we have at home and which isn't, and never has been, the subject of advertising campaigns or TV commercials or High Street store promotions.

    Not a chance.

A triumph of advertising over substance, the Dyson was, and still is, crap. It didn't perform anywhere near as well as our own unadvertised un-hyped vac, and actually broke down during our usage.

We therefore resorted to going round to our relative's home with our vacuum: a Miele Cat 'N Dog, purchased on May 10th, 1999.

In a few months' time, therefore, it will be 11 years old. It's still as good as new. Has never broken down. Has never failed to live up to its manufacturer's promise.

And as far as Dyson is concerned, it -- literally -- wipes the floor with it.

No wonder Miele has such a stunning reputation: if you average out the cost of ownership over the duration of ownership, it's very probably the cheapest vacuum on the market.

    Whilst still being the best.

Having owned and used many vacuum cleaners I would never part with my Dyson. I love it!

I personally think that buying the right hoover for your needs does not end once you have unpacked it. If you look after your appliance-check and clean filters, dismantle hoses and other general maintanance they often last a lot longer than if you just keep using and hope for the best!

Same goes for washing machines and irons and many other every day appliances. Though I will not bore you anymore, I have accepted that I'm am in a minority when it comes to my passionate interest in Vaccum cleaners, washing machines and all things cleaning wise:rotfl:
There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.
