If you have NPB strikes on your account, that may be preventing you from bidding.

There's not a lot you can do about that, short of asking the sellers nicely to permit you to bid.

As you've only got the 7 transactions anyway, would it be so difficult to open up another account? it's easy enough to do, and all you need in another e-mail address. it'll mean starting from scratch, but 60% is gonna be really really hard to come back from.

you'll probably have two strikes from any non-paying bidder action, undertaken as by the seller who gave you negs.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

Fair enough, and I'd eventually like to sell things on ebay so perhaps best to get a new account. This one is set up in my oh's name anyway so I can easily get a new one.

I certainly would suggest that you close your account and restart with all new details and a clean slate.

You've almost certainly got 2 NPB strikes and another too quickly will lose you your account anyway. Also, bearing in mind that your strikes never go having two hanging over you is going to be a worry if you use this account and build up lots of feedback and then run into more problems in the future.

Having read the explanations, I would allow you to bid - as long as you paid immediately and by Paypal. With you having such low feedback in the first place, though, it may be for the best if you register a new account.

thanks..I'll go for a new account..an have the fresh problem of being a suspicious ebay 'newbie' lol...
I intend to buy a few bits as I have a fair bit of paypal funds after selling our pram so will go for cheap things like baby clothes to build up some good feedback.

    thanks for all your advice.
