How can I put a picture on the front of a CD or CD case?

My friend got married this week and I want to put all the pictures that me and other friends took onto one CD and present it as a gift to the couple.
Ideally I would like to find an online company who will be able to make up a CD and case on which I can put a picture of the couple on the front of the case. (Like DVD cases have the films picture on the front)
Or failing that, is there a way to put a picture onto the actual CD itself? Like maybe print to a sticker or some sorts?
Can anyone recommend a company who could do this? I looked at Tesco photo as I know they do photo gifts but they didn't have anything suitable.
I hope I've explained this properly!
TIA

Your best bet is to buy some CD Label stickers, you simply print on them and then stick them on the CD. They cover the whole disk and are pre-cut.
You will find a lot of suitable software on the Internet, try looking in twocows.com for CD Label Maker.:jI am an Employment Law Paralegal and an experienced Human Resources Manager and offer my guidance as simply that ... guidance :j0 -

Hi
Somebody asked a similar question about jewel cases a few days ago.

As mentioned above, there is plenty of free software available to do the job.
But...
It really would be a good idea to get hold of an applicator to apply the label to the disc.
It is important that the label is centralised on the disc. In use the disc spins at a very high speed and any imbalance could ruin the drive.
Something like this item on ebay would be good enough. It even includes software and labels for the cd and case all for less than a fiver.0 -
aye, iirc wilkos and pound shops often have applicators very cheap
Depending on the printer you might also be able to get printable CD's and put them on a tray, and use the printers software which is the simplest way by far if the printer supports it (I had messing around with labels).0 -
I would go Lightscribe or as Nilrem suggests, direct CD printing. Not a fan of labels on CDs.
If I was in the UK, I would print the picture on a CD for you for nothing. (I like good causes).0 -
Aw thanks all for the suggestions
I'll have a look into them all today and try to sort something out
