I've always believed it's a tax on people who don't understand maths
It's like saying,
Pick a number between 1 and 14,000,000 (14 million), and if you guess correctly you'll win the jackpot

If you're spending £104 per year on the lottery, presumably you're playing twice each week, so actually it's like picking two numbers between 1 and 14,000,000; needless to say, much better odds, if you 'understand maths.''It is the duty of righteous men to make war on all undeserved privilege.' - Primo Levi0

No mantra for you. Can't you spend you time doing something more constructive, like watch paint dry because quite frankly, your posts are boring me now.Ryan.Maloney wrote:I've always believed it's a tax on people who don't understand maths

It isn't quite 14,000,000...
(49!)/(6!)(43!) = 13,983,816

Apparantly odds have shown you have have more chance of flying to the moon than you have of winning the lottery. What a waste of £104.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

yer, but it would be nice to win. Thats all the lottery is there for. Now if someone that has been playing since the day it started with the same numbers each week stoped playing you just know that them number will come up0
