How can I get hotter water? (with pictures)

Here is the problem. My combi boiler is about 2 years old and gets the radiators very hot very quickly. In the bathroom we have a bath/shower with a mixer tap (pictured). The water for the shower is controlled by the centre wheel in the picture and gets more than hot enough. However when running a bath the water is only warm but certainly not hot enough, in fact even when a using the hot tap only for a full bath its still not right.
On the boiler both the water and heating dial are turned up to maximum and the Boiler make is EVO HE and its one of the following models:
C22/24, C22/30 or C22/35
I have heard that some taps have a heat restrictor in them to avoid burning. Can anyone tell me if my tap looks like one of these using the pictures below and if so how I can change the settings.

Does the water get hot enough if you run the hot tap less quickly? That is, fast enough to ignite the boiler, but not at full belt? If so, perhaps the boiler simply can't heat the water fast enough when you have a greater volume running through it. You may just have to be patient when you run the bath.0

If your filling it with cold at the same time this will effect how much hot you get.0

You need to establish if your boiler is the 24, 30 or 35 model. This will more or less definately mean the kilowatt rating. I suspect it will be the 24 kw version, and that it isn't up to the job of supplying enough hot water, esp when the heating is on.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. Thanks for the replies. I will definitely check out the model number more closely and confirm. I'm not running any heating or cold whilst running the bath-literally just the hot water tap for the bath (1 bedroom flat).
Would the 24W version struggle to provide water even for a 1 bed flat of 52 square meters?
Thanks for the tip on running the water slowly-that's not something I have not considered.
Is it true that taps have heat restrictors on? Do mine look normal?0 -
I think it may come down to the boiler not being powerful enough. I have a similar problem for the water to fill the bath to be hot it needs to be on very slow, In effect the bath can't be used.
I think you're only way out maybe to get an electric shower.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

most combis are very poor for running a bath. not very hot and very slow to fill.
dont use the cold tap at the same time.
my wife runs the hot bath, and makes a coffee and watch some tv whilst the bath is running.Get some gorm.0 -
Thanks for the replies but again to clarify I NEVER run the cold water or any heating or appliances when running the bath.
Totally take the point that it may not be powerful but am confused about the shower comment. I have a shower linked to the tap that is in the picture - the shower is AMAZING. Hot and very powerful.
I'm just confused that the shower is really hot and yet running the tap alone is luke warm.0 -
my shower is always hotter than the bath because the shower head restricts the water running through the heater. When I run a bath I have to turn the sinks cold tap on a bit and let it run OR pull the flush, this cuts the amount of water running through the heater so it gets hotter.
I have my dial set to full on in this weather and the water is only just hot enough, in summer it will be way too hot at that setting. I wish really I had bought a more powerful combi.0 -
This is an obvious one: do you have a thermostat on your HW tank that can be turned up?Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
