No dont think there is.
Teach her a life lesson, when she goes over her limit, make her pay for her calls,
If she does it three months in a row, take the phone off her for a month.
Follow it through though, then you are teaching her to take responsibility for herself and not passing the buck onto the phone companymake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Thanks your right, i will do that

Youre welcome, i had to smile, i wanted to wish you good luck, knowing teenagers you'll prbably need it, there will be tantrums and tears,
stick to your guns and be strong:);)make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Put her on a Pay As You Go phone, when credit runs out she can't call/text anyone anymore - when she starts having remainding credit at the end of the month give her back the contract phone.0

Or, sign up for My T-Mobile at https://www.t-mobile.co.uk, register the phone there, keep an eye on how many minutes and texts are left. When either gets to zero, or a monetary charge gets registered that's un-excusable, then call up T-Mobile (0845 412 5000) and ask for the phone to be barred (say you've lost it or something).
The offspring will soon learn.0 -
i did this for my sister, i made her pay for the calls...i then put her on flext or something and when she went over it she had to buy a top up ...i dunno if they still do that tho! i think the above poster definately has the right idea, or instead of doing that, just take it off her when her allowance is up/almost up!0

Not heard this for a while oddly. This is a very common problem, often ending up with parents landed with a big monthly bill at one points, usually month 1/2, of a £100+.
Anyway, what can be done.
Put her on a,
T-Mobile Solo Fixed contract. (when allowence is used you have to topup like PAYG)
3 Contract, and set balence to be £0 (can't go over allowence)
A good old fashioned PAYG simcard.
Other actions are, removal of the phone, or force her to pay for anything over she uses (potentially at 2x so she learns quickly) (train her to check the balance)Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0
