Free itemised bills
Ex Cellular Operations customers on a vodafone tariff who are still with Vodafone can ask for free itemised phone bills.
Cellular Operations was a 'dial a mobile phone' style comapany that was taken over by Vodafone probably about a year ago (roughly?). I had was on a vodafone tariff with Cellular Operations but then my contract was taken over by Vodafone themselves. When I really needed to save money I decided not to have the itemised phone bills that cost £1.50 per month. Recently I wanted to check that everything was ok with my bills, maybe move to a cheaper tariff, so I tried to set up my online billing account on Vodafone's website. There's a technical problem that means ex Cellular Operations customers will not be able to view their bills each month without having to call customers services to get thier online account passwords reset.
The lovely man at Vodafone customer services agreed that from now on I should get my bills itemised for free. I assume that all ex Cellular Operations customers will also be able to get as well. So I hope this helps other ex Cellular Operations who can't get thier bills reliably or are paying for them unnecessarily
