Give it a try, I was never any good at it but practice makes perfect.
More importantly it helps you reduce your shopping bills.

            I love faggots as well
Claire - if you do a table in Word with breakfast, lunch, dinner across the top and then Monday - Sunday down the side. Print it off and see how many boxes you can fill with what you already have. Write the meals in and as soon as you hit a 'gap' (ie you only 1 pint of milk to cover 7 days worth of cereal) start your list and add to it as you find another gap.
It is restrictive in that you will only be able to cook what you have on your planner, but it will really save you lots of money and you'll be able to use everything up before you buy more. "Stay Wonky":D "Stay Wonky":D

My meal plan for Monday is:
Breakfast - shreddies with a banana.
Lunch - tinned soup, fruit and a pot of jelly.
Tea - cook from frozen smoked haddock and vegetables (from freezer).
 Snacks - fruit, chili/wusabi peanuts.
There's a thread on the os board to do with meal planning.
