Strange, my local Hyundai dealer has a huge stock of i30's, he cannot get i10's though.0 -
I thought the stock issues were only with the i10 as well. Haven't really looked into it much, but I understand the i10 is virtually the best possible deal there is with the scrappage, hence the demand...Strange, my local Hyundai dealer has a huge stock of i30's, he cannot get i10's though.0 -
i10 is in scarce supply due to scrappage - not aware of any i30 issues. Also have a feeling that the i30 is built in Europe so shipping should not take to long0

i saw a black hyundai getz and a black kia picanto (i think it was a picanto) this morning beside each other in traffic, and just realised how similar they really are, i would have never noticed any hyundais looking like kias until this thread!! quite interesting actually!0

As both are basically same cars in different disguise, go which has the longer warranty just because of better resale value.
Unless, of course, you are getting Hyundai far cheaper than Kia.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -
Thank you all for your replies. I have a Ceed on order. A tiny bit more expensive, but a longer warranty and nicer interior.
Ordered it just in time as my 2 closest dealers had run out of their scrappage allowance!0
