Porting number - Contract to PAYG

Is it possible to port a number from a contract to a PAYG?
I'm currently with t-mobile, my contracts up and I wanted to change to PAYG, but I just spoke to t-mobile and they told me they no longer do PAYG.
So is there any company that I can transfer my contract number to on a PAYG deal?

Well, they wouldn't change my contract number to PAYG, and said they no longer did PAYG - sales team lying me thinks.
I got my PAC code anyway - so just contact orange and see what they say?

Cheers guys - what network do Asda use?
I should have said previously but where I live I only get a signal for T-mobile and Orange.

It looks like Ikea mobile mobile uses T-mobile infrastructure, not as cheap as Asda but reasonable. I'll do a bit more research to confirm.
£3 extra credit with ikea code FMS2 if anyones interested.
