I had a water meter fitted the other week. I have 2 companies one for giving and one for taking. When the man from severnt trent rang me about the meter he asked for the sewerage cost per year, then he told me how much i would save. he didnt say anything else, So will severn trent have contacted anglian water about me having a meter? or should i contact them and tell them?.
Thanks

You don't normally have a choice over your water supplier. Who did you pay your water rates to before the meter was fitted? Which company fitted the meter?£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

I payed and will continue to pay severn trent for water and continue pay sewerage to anglian.
Just wondering if severn would/will tell anglian about the meter, for a discount on sewerage charges.0 -

Yes they should tell Anglian as your sewerage charges will now be based on the amount of water you use. I would give Anglian water a call yourself to let them know about the meter, just to make sure.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

Severn Trent will bill for Anglian
You will get one bill for STW and it will be based on their water price per cubic meter (about £1.20 per m3) and the used will be for Anglian price per cubic meter (which I believe is more per m3 then STW) and then your drainage will be a fixed amount based on property type ie flat, semi detached, detached ( that should also be based on Anglian rate of charge as they are taking the foul away )
You can set up a payment plan with Severn Trent and they will deal with the restThere is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
