van hire
Options
Hi everyone,
I need to hire a van to collect my sofa from my brother's house in Barnet (25 miles away from me) and the cheapest option so far seems to be about £50. Any suggestions on how I can keep the costs down?
Thanks
Ladyhawk

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

Baring in mind you have the cost of diesel (and your time) on top of the hire price, have you tried a local "man and van"?0

You could try using Shiply!

Failing that - A few hire companies do 4 hour hire for around £25.
A quick 'google' http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=4+hour+van+hire&meta=&aq=1&oq=4+hour+v0 -
Thanks - I've put it on Shipley and fingers crossed!!Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

Thrifty will let you hire vans by the hour, something like 6 quid plus what ever fuel you use.
However for 24 hours its only 36 quid.
Local man and van might be £50 or there abouts.0 -
Get your brother to pay
