  • Any dish correctly aligned to 28.2 degrees east will receive signals from that satellite.

Your dish is suitable for Freesat.

Had you read my previous post, you would have seen that Sky put a new dish up last week which cost me £60, so we do have a dish.......thats how we get TV, neither of the other two ariels on the roof managed to produce a piture on the TV despite having a booster..........

Wating to see whats in the post today.......

Yeah but I wasn't that concerned with the intricacy's of your story, just erred on the side of posting as much helpful information as possible in one post to end your thread high-jack.

I was not high Jacking the thread, If you looked you would have seen that I had posted about the problem but no one had deigned to answer, as his problem was similar to mine, I posted an answer......

The sarcastic comment was uncalled for.

No you posted a rambling statement and then highjacked with your questions:

"May be like us they have no alternative to get a decent TV picture they have to go with sky, I am having similar problems getting them to sort out our telephone and broadband, they were quick enough to come out and sort out the TV but we still have no phone or broadband, I am haing to use a mobile dongle and I cannot afford to keep phoning sky on our PAYG mobile, its already cost me £15 to speak to an idiot in India who frankly did not understand English and I could not understand him either.

We have the satelite dish, they put that up last week, can I cancel my service and get a freestat dish and use a different phone company and broadband???
I am about to cancel my direct debit so they cannot take any more money from our account, they have already taken money for a service we are not getting.

I am so angry it is affecting my blood pressure........I just do not know what else to do. My OH is about as much use as a chocolate orange.........just sits on his btm and watches the box, quite happy to drive myself ibnto an early grave trying to get these idiots to do what they are paid to do.

Who do I write to if I want to make a formal complaint, more to the point will it do any good?????
We cannot even go to the other idiots Virgin, we live in a rural area and there is no service here. "

And no sarcasm from me simply the facts.
