Problem Or Luck? Send Txts N Credz Dnt Go Down!!!

Im with O2 and have been for the past year or so!

One of my mates went to Bangladesh a few days ago. I have texted her about 4 times and she text back saying she received it etc etc. I thought I would be charged around £1 for each text. I got the 100minute bolt on btw.

I checked by balance again today after sending another text and its still saying what it seid yesterday, BALANCE: 28Min 17Secs!!!

Am I some how previlaged to send free textx abroad? Or will I be charged later? OR is O2 doing some offer?

Title is dodgy, it should be 'SENT texts and my credit didnt go down'
I was writing a lot of texts and couldnt help writing like that!

Hello. I don't understand your meaning by the balance given in minutes and seconds instead of pounds and pence, but...

I have read elsewhere on this board that a while back people thought they were getting free GPRS as they were not being billed for it, only to receive huge bills for usage in areers months later. I can't remember off the top of my head which network it was, but this may also be the case here especially if it's international usage. You might also want to check your cash balance on your statement. It's one thing to have a freebie, not report it and then truly get it for free, quite another to think you have a freebie only to be billed later for it. that can lead to a very big 'ouch' and a nice hide under the covers.

With 02 you get bolt ons. Everytime I top up £10 I get free 100 mins/texts anytime/any network!!!

Basically its 100 units, 1 unit = either 1 texts or minute.

After the 100 units are finished then my balance starts to go down, its PAYG not monthly, so, i cant get billed after.

I think I am getting free texts abroad!

Has your friend taken her UK number and are you texting that? If that's the case then it doesn't cost you anymore.

If you are texting an international number I think some tariffs that give free texts take 3 for any texts sent to international numbers as they normally cost around 3 times the standard text rpice.
