Leaking Scale Inhibitor on boiler pipes

Hi, I have just had my boiler breakdown guy out who has confirmed that this is not covered by my breakdown plan - isnt this always the case. Anyway we have a small pin hole appear on the scale inhibitor, its leaking rather rapidly and I am having to empty a large bowl every 3-4 hours. Can anyone suggest a repair or should…

As keystone says, ensure that you are replacing like for like in order that alternations won't be required.
