Are there any property agents who are being paid by a buyer to finds a best property?

Are there any property agents who are being paid by a buyer to finds a best property?
I understand that it is a bit tricky to find a good value for money property, to negotiate a good price etc. Are there any professionals who fork for buyer rather than seller?

Thanks

In the US yes, I don't know if there are any in the UK. The agent or the broker will be the one to represent the buyer when they look for a property to buy.

This is what I am looking for but with no-deal-no-fee basis. Othervise I can just pay £1000 for nothing.

I know of two buyers' agents active in Scotland, but they may not be any help to you if you're looking elsewhere.

Let me get this straight though - you want to hire someone to look for properties for you, to sift out the wheat from the chaff, and find you the best ones, and possibly negotiate on your behalf.....but you're not willing to pay them a bean until you buy?

Isn't there a possibility with your scenario that they could do a whole heap of work for you, and you go cold on the whole idea, and they don't get paid?

Yep - sounds like that is exactly what OP wants. Personally I'd look for Rocking Horse !!!!!! - you'll have more luck!

Yes there are companies that do this. Google "property search agency".

It will cost though, as does every personalised service.
