Almost invisible, but not totally.0 -
They can be very good to be fair, looks like a dob of glue at most when you inspect it closely.
I wouldn't want a repair if it was in my direct vision but if it is somewhere obscure at the top or the passenger side I would be happy to get a repair.0 -
I suppose it's the difference between paying an insurance excess of £10 for repair and £75 excess for replacement. I'm having mine repaired next week but if i'm not happy with it I will go for a replacement0

I had a chip in the windscreen of my previous car. A windscreen repairer in the car park of the local Homebase told me it would fail the MoT. I checked with my local garage and they told me it wouldn't and showed me why using the approved template. It subsequently passed two MoTs.0

£10?? my insurers do it for free, which insurers are charging £10?0 -
Direct Line are one company who charge £10 excess for repairs0

Aviva charge £10 too.
My last car had a previous repair that was noticeable although I have no idea how old it was (though the car was seven years old, so not terribly I assume)0 -
Thanks, avoid Aviva and Direct Line then, any more?0

A mate has cover with Quinn Direct - "Fully Comprehensive"
"You don't have glass cover, sir...."
It's just cost him £160 for a new side window....0
