recently had an attack by a nasty virus called W32.Myzor.FK@yf
my home page kept going to some dogdy security site offering a fix ect...
I'v got McAfee AV and fire wall but it still got in. I'v managed to sort out my home page problem but my PC is running very slow and it drops off the net occansionally there may be somthing still lurking within. Dont trust McAfee.
I've been told there is a hijack scan I can do?
I wanna get it sorted without ripping the guts out of PC.
Anyones help is appreciciated

If you already have AV and Anti-Spyware installed then restart your PC and boot into Safe Mode (press F8 when your PC is booting to access the menu).
You should then run your AV and Anti-Spyware tools and remove any threats.
