Aldi Beans Vs Heinz Vs Others

AldiThere was a Which magazine test recently in which Branston came out top. The Aldi beans also rated highly, but I think it said the recipe is about to be changed.
Personally, I would go along with the results of their survey - Branston beans are fab, but Aldi also great and better value unless you can get the Branston offers.0 -

Ive had these recently and they are fine - in the past any beans that don't taste right I add a squirt of tomato puree or a bit of brown sauce. Just stocked up on Branston Asda offer, have never tried them.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
A vote here for tesco's healthy eating low salt & sugar baked beans, a lot cheaper than the Heinz low sugar/salt equivalent and I think nicer.0

AldiAldis baked beans are probably the best baked beans in the universe. Any1 who recons heinz baked beans are better obv havent tried Aldis beans.
No contest imho, I dont think heinz beans would make my top5 favourite beans list but Aldis are #1 for sure ...0 -
Branston beans - Heinz used to be good years ago but now they're grim, the cheapie value beans are better than Heinz in both taste and bean to juice ratio

Didn't vote as I've never tried the aldi ones."A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

I prefer Branston too, there seems to be lots more beans in the tin than with any other brand I have tried. Currently they are on offer 4 for 1 pound at Lidl! If they are not on offer Sainsbury's Basics are pretty good too.March GC £122.25/ £120
April GC £109.83/ £650 -
I can't eat the heinz ones, they taste like washing up liquid and are vile, I'll only really eat the Aldi ones which are fab.
Had half a tin tonight on a jacket spud, yum!:staradmin0 -
I beg to differ. Tried Branston, hate them. Went back to Heinz. Tried a Sainsbury's baked beans and sausages the other week as an alternative to Heinz. Absolutely vile!0

Aldiafter rying asda/tesco value beans for a while then trying heinz i felt the latter was too sweet and more sauce than the value tins,0

After many years of trial and error....Has to be Heinz beans and ketchup and my favourite brand of tea...other than that - I'm game to try cheaper alternatives.
