    I'm angry at this!

On Tuesday, a Halifax guy cold-called me telling me I was pre-approved for a credit card. So I went through, gave him all my details and it was all okay.

A couple of days later (today), I suddenly can't log on to my online banking. I thought for sure that I was a victim of fraud and my heart just sank. Thank god when I called the help desk that the advisors told me that their systems are having problems though and that they confirmed that the cold-call was definitely from them.

BOO HALIFAX!!   I didn't need all that stress right now!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

I had to go through the "forgot your password/details" rigmarole before I could get back in. Thank Christ they didn't have to send a new password to my home address - that would have made me close my account.

If you can`t get in at Halifax site try this one:

  • Is there some sort of mass conspiracy going on this morning.

I've just tried to get into my post Office Credit Card account and that site is having problems.

It shows I have spent nothing on it, which is fine, except of course I have.

Asked to view my statement and a notice came up saying site was having problems, call back later.

    I think I will emigrate.

    Just a heads up.

The Halifax Online Website has problems this morning. (19.2.2010)

It is showing that details entered are incorrect (when they are).

There is a message on their phone line saying they have problems.

I have spoken to Customer Services and they say wait a few hours and try again.

Don't bother doing what I did and reset your password, because it has no effect.

Mine had the same problem when using Mozilla Firefox, did not bother to phone helpline or anything though, as it worked fine with Google Chrome!
