School Meals...Refunds?

I am a dinner cashier for a school and when the child is absent or the school is closed for snow day etc, the money just gets carried over, so you will have a credit on the register, best thing to do is to send in less money next week and attach note/write on envelope a little message.
it works the other way too - if you don't pay for a week you then have a debit on the register - lol! - then you get a letter home.0 -
On the odd occassion my daughter takes school dinners (normally a pack lunch chick) then if the school is closed or if she is off sick and I have already paid (money has to be in on a Monday) then they give her the cash back the next time they see her.0

Same here we normally get a note from the secetary saying to only send in x amount the following week.**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0
