I just got mine a couple of days ago, having had Nokias all my life. I'm finding it very intuitive and easy to use actually, although my wife is struggling a bit.

I want this phone what is the cheapest way to get it. I would prefer sims free and not contract, o2 are offering it free at £19 per month for 12 months that works out at £228 but I presume I'm then locked to their sims card.

AFAIK O2 contract phones tend to come unlocked with minimal software changes on the phone. I have a K800i on O2 contract (albeit thru' e2save) and was able to use Orange SIM in it.
