    Of course.

    1. Check your $ky TV package. Do you need all the channels you are paying for?
    2. What phone package have you got with BT? There are alternatives, but would strongly recommend against going to $ky. Why? Because it is a one way street: you will not be able to change back without paying to have a new line installed (LLU); nor will you be able to use override codes. See Martin's articles on the main site about line rental.
    3. The broadband market is competitive. Companies such as BE, part of 02, offer deals as cheap as £7.15 per month if you live in a suitable exchange.
It might be convenient to have one bill for everything, but as this forum is about money saving, this is not a course of action I would recommend.

$ky will try and tempt you with discounts for a number of months, but you must make comparisons over minimum rental periods and consider the consequences of LLU.

we have the capability of Virgin as it has been used before here. The current channels on sky are all needed and we utilised. we thought if we bundled it all over to sky it would be cheaper?
  • I imagine then that the biggest saving will be your broadband. BT is expensive. Have a look on the broadband forum and main site. You could save over 60% a month.

Check on the sky website what broadband packages they can offer you when you put your phone number in - the options will depend on your local phone exchange.

Why does the OP need to limit themselves to one provider? There is a competitive phone and broadband market, with excellent articles written about on the main site and recommendations posted in the home phones and internet access forums.
