Lost in post - who is responsible?

Why did you ask her to open a dispute against you?
I sometimes do this as well - if they are a habituable claimant, it's likely they'll raise a red flag with paypal for making too many INR claims. It also gives me a lasting record of losses
I refund before it gets to claim level though, so it does not go against any Seller Non Performance metrics.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

If a seller won't refund me unless I open a dispute thats an instant neg in my book.
(not that we can do much about it though.)
It's just easier- paypal are useless but if they get enough cases from a buyer they might take notice. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -

It's all about the communication though isn't it? I've already told the buyer that they will be getting a refund, and the paypal dispute is just a formality.
As above though, I'd be getting suspicious as to why they were so reluctant to make any claim for non-receipt official/documented. Maybe I've just become too sceptical after too many years on ebay!<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Im always instantly put off an auction that says they are not responsible for items lost in the post...especially if I look at their feedback and see they have responded to "item never received etc" feedback with a " not my responsibility" comment
One feedback rating I looked at, the buyer said they had not received the item and seller wouldnt refund...seller had responded with.."read my terms, muppet!, offered to send you proof of posting so you could claim"...so naturally I made a mental note not to buy from them!0
