BT Broadband quarterly bill

I'm with BT and I have to pay 3 months in advance.
Do all the ISPs charge 3 months in advance as well?

    I had this with BT but have now changed to monthly billing so I know exactly what I am paying. They credited the months that I had paid in advance.

    ok thanks, I didn't know I could change it. How did you do it? Just phoned them up or online?

  • BT are the only company I've ever heard of that are nuts enough to do something like this.

    From what I've heard they usually use the excuse that they're changing the billing cycle or "aligning invoicing dates" (whatever that's supposed to mean) if I were you I'd complain and then switch provider as soon as possible.

    From BT's point of view it is not nuts at all; think of all that money up front in their coffers, rather than bank accounts of subscribers.

    Those same subscribers who put up with it are nuts!

    They are not " nuts " they have the money, BT Customers are nuts for letting them get away with it.
