When did they stop handing out the vouchers?

As far as I know, they won't stop handing these vouchers out until nearly the end of March.

The Ealing Branch didn't have it advertised today and when I spent 6 Pounds I wasn't handed one and my receipt doesn't say I should have got one...

The new voucher will probably start on Wednesday 24th March, :j although the current one is valid until Sunday 28th.

It's always worth keeping a couple of £5 vouchers back, if you have them, just in case there's a wonderful glitch possible, with the new offers available from the ACM from Wednesday 24th.

If not, you've still got a few days to spend the vouchers on accessories, wipes etc. :) HTH

Just back from a successful tripto my local boots:-)

I picked up one of these
http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Anti-Age...-30-3g_854572/ for 75p and then found an opulance eye pallette at the back of the store on the sale stand which the SA let me use my other voupon on so got it for £1.50 so a very happy bunny here :T

I really like the lip and eye shimmer so think I need to go a wombling now so I can pick up another one:rotfl:

    Many thanks

Well done bunnykins, I had to pay £6.50 for my opulance eye pallette, SA would not let me use a voupon, well actually it was a snowie, the time befores voucher/coupon. Its great to hear you got such a bargain! :)

Kaos, you'll rarely get a satisfactory answer when the question is something like "Why did the voucher work on this but not on that", cos only Mr Boots knows why!!!!

It's what's called The Boots Mystery of Life. ;) When we had the Time Delay voucher, the time before last, I presented the item (£6), with the voucher, and paid 40p and got 20p in points (I get the 10% discount). Last month I did exactly the same, and was charged 90p and no points!!

And we've all had experience of SAs who will go out of their way to be helpful, trying vouchers, and over-riding things, :j and others that view a voucher as if its value was coming out of their wages and won't try!

Well done on getting what you did. It's always nice to get something for nothing!

    xx

Lol, yeah, I would never try and figure out why some stuff works and some doesn't... I used to be into my Bootsing in a very big way but haven't had the use of a car to get there for the last year or so (not a huge problem as I have stockpiles, lol).
It was just the fact that the voucher didn't take off the full £5 even though I had spent £5 on 2 x £2.50 reduced No7 items and I wasn't sure whether the SA had double scanned one of them (the 2 beeps I heard) therefore bringing the pre-voucher total to £7.50, which would make the post-voucher total £2.50 to pay.
I figured if the vouchers were restricted to only being useable against 1 item then you lot would know ;)

It didn't work because you can only use 1 voucher per item. If you want to buy 2 items and use your vouchers they have to be put through in separate transactions. Hope that helps!

Thanks, I know you can only use 1 voucher per item... but I'm wondering whether you meant that the other way around, that you can only have 1 item per voucher (I'm just trying to confuse you all, lol!)

I only had one £5 voucher and tried to buy 2 x £2.50 No7 items and it said I had £2.50 to pay. Either it is restricted to 1 ITEM per voucher or the SA double scanned one of my items.

Either way, I'm still happy with my freebie nail varnish :D

    Hi All,
I have tried to find the answer within this thread but its getting so big!

I am new to 'Bootsing' so this may be a dumb question but can I pick £22 worth of No7 stuff, pay using my £5 voucher and still qualify for the free gift?

many thanks to anyone who can help.

I have before. Just make sure the free gift has been scanned along with your £22 worth of No7 and then hand over your £5 voucher. Most SAs will not question it. :)
  • I tried to use my £5 voucher tonight to buy a No7 electrical item - the SA pointed (politely) to the terms and conditions on the reverse of the voucher and said she couldn't accept it. She said that the next voucher that comes out will include electrical items.
