Well, another successful trip today. Popped into my local as I had to return the mis-buy from yesterday (Compact trimmer instead of the heated curlers...both look very very similar so easy mistake to make...honest :o ). Asked the SA where I did returns and she said she would do it. She put the refund through and didn't ask for the GWP back which I had received yesterday for buying the Trimmer (£7.49 reduced from £15) and some No7 skincare (£7.50 but used voucher). :T So I then went and picked up the heated eyelash curlers and another skincare, took to the till and Total: £9.99 + another GWP and a voucher + 250 points voucher No7 which had been in the previous GWP :j Very happy. Even DH is getting into this and encouraging my shopping as I have now bought him 3 of the mens skincare items using the vouchers each time

Well done on your purchases Sally! :) I'm out with another friend in London tomorrow, so if I see any more cosmetic bags I'll PM you.

Kaos, you'll rarely get a satisfactory answer when the question is something like "Why did the voucher work on this but not on that", cos only Mr Boots knows why!!!!

It's what's called The Boots Mystery of Life. ;) When we had the Time Delay voucher, the time before last, I presented the item (£6), with the voucher, and paid 40p and got 20p in points (I get the 10% discount). Last month I did exactly the same, and was charged 90p and no points!!

And we've all had experience of SAs who will go out of their way to be helpful, trying vouchers, and over-riding things, :j and others that view a voucher as if its value was coming out of their wages and won't try!

Well done on getting what you did. It's always nice to get something for nothing!

    xx

the code won't work,i have used it once already, but bit looks like others have used it more than once, has the code changed?

I think the code doesn't work online anymore as it was used irresponsibly. Its a real shame as I wanted the makeup mirror which I cant seem to find in my local boots which is a large store. Do they hide the makeup mirrors somewhere completely different from the makeup?

Yes, they do. None of the NO7 accessories in any of the stores near me are near the NO7 make-up - they are in the accessories aisle, beside the false nails, false eyelashes and make-up brushes.

Thank you very much!! I thought my store didn't sell soap and glory products until 3 weeks ago when i asked a soap and glory mad pal of mine who explained they hid it at the back of the store, no wonder the shelfs are always full.

Hubby brought back a voupon last week but didnt think I would use it but now I definately will, thank you thank you!

I picked up one of these
http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Anti-Age...-30-3g_854572/ for 75p and then found an opulance eye pallette at the back of the store on the sale stand which the SA let me use my other voupon on so got it for £1.50 so a very happy bunny here :T

I really like the lip and eye shimmer so think I need to go a wombling now so I can pick up another one:rotfl:

    Many thanks

Happened to unexpectedly be in the vicinity of a Boots yesterday and grabbed some of the Colgate BOGOF so was given a No7 voucher.
Dashed to the reduced shelf and grabbed 2 No7 nail varnishes reduced to £2.50 each, thought I'd try my luck (didn't hold out much hope).
SA scanned first one with some difficulty and got 2 beeps (not sure why), then scanned second one, then my voucher, all the time muttering over and over again "I don't think this will work".
The till said I had £2.50 to pay?????
The SA muttered something about it not working on 2 items so I said one would be fine as I was in a rush. She looked at me like I was stupid, shrugged and said fine :)

So I got a free nail varnish with my voucher... which I'm happy with as I didn't really want to pay extra for something just to use my voucher but still have no idea why it only worked on one item... any ideas?

(Sorry if this is something that has been discussed before but I've been off the Bootsing scene for a while :( )

It didn't work because you can only use 1 voucher per item. If you want to buy 2 items and use your vouchers they have to be put through in separate transactions. Hope that helps!

Many thanks, found the sponges. Hope to get quite a few of these. Would like to get the lip tint but perhaps it's only available online.
