Vodafone internet on Blackberry abroad

Hello, I am planning on going on holiday in europe soon and i have a contract with Vodafone on a Blackberry plan, which obviously means internet is constantly open.

When i travel abroad, would the internet connection work? does it charge extra for my internet? If so is there a way of turning off all internet connections, but still have my phone switched on?

Also, if it does charge for internet, how does Vodafone charge for internet usage in Europe?

You'll get roaming changes for use anywhere other than the UK.
From about 2 to 10 quid a meg used, depends on which country's you're in as the network you'll be roaming on sets the cost.
If you call Voda with a list of where you'll be they should be able to give you all the costs.

Data roaming with a BB abroad is very cheap, due to the excellent way a BB compresses data.

If you want to turn it off, Options, Mobile Network, then set Data Services to Off while roaming.
