Completely new shower room / bathroom

Before having my bathroom de-done, see previous post, I had a design company quote for the lot EXCLUDING the electrics..about £5500 for what eventually cost less than £2000 from a sole trader.0

How long did it take you?Myself and a plumber i know have just finished a complete bathroom refit for a customer for £1500. Removed old tiles, bathroom suite etc and fitted new suite (already purchased by the customer), tiled all the walls and the floor. That price included labour and all materials ie tile adhesive, grout. The customer that we did the job for had also got a quote from dolphin, and she said it was ridiculous too!
