HELP! Please Setting up Wireless Router?

I'm on Plus Net with a Thomson TG 585 v7 and it is only b/g not n. So the cheaper one will do. I actually have a BT USB dongle on my other PC which is b/g and works fine but no where near a quick as a Cat5e cable.

Took me a while but I got there in the end! I bought the belkin one and it seems to be fine.....so far!

I was on broadband before guys so was just using dial up while I worked out how to set up the wireless router as Pipex had cut off my old broadband (modem) which was why using the dial up was annoying me cos it was SO s l o w!. robt I'm embarrassed to say I never thought about using the lead as a temporary measure I was too flustered and focused on it being wireless!!

One more question though........please?

I remember reading....about people sitting in cars outside houses and using other people wireless connections!! :eek: How do I make sure it's "locked"?

WPA/WPA2 and a nice long passphrase like "youcansitoutsideforever-youwontgetinhere" is all you need.
