I have just tried applying for 2 burger jobs with gyp but both have been rejected do you think it's because I just turned down a job when they rang me?

Have you only recently joined? There is a 'cooling off' period for the burger ones

    Morning all,

Lookin for a little help. Trying to get my fingers into as many pies as possible, e.g. m/shopping, surveys etc

Do any of you also do other things? I follow the thread and theres things you lot talk about that i have no idea (since everything is normally code lol)

Scanning the forum as we speak, but if anyone has any good links. Tried signing up for boots and Tesco product testing (tesco is full, boots sending a form out)

Apologies from deviating. Only have 1 job this week :(

I would be interested in doing something like this as well, but couldn't see anything on the boots website - can you send me/post the link please (I have tried myself....!);)

Forget that - just found it!

It is sometimes difficult to get into them as they only have so many per area, I think. It took me a few applications.

Yes they only have a set number of diners per area and show vacancies for the areas as and when needed.
They give a reasonable reimbursement and you can use vouchers/special offers etc just as a normal diner would. I usually get one visit a month out of them in my quiet area. For the first job, you can only apply for a visit in your hometown, if they are happy with that, you can apply for others. It is fastest finger first but you have to phone them to be allocated the jobs (until you reach gold or platinum status). They are a friendly company and not to be feared lol.

Applied for another 9 egg jobs. Didn't get any in the last lot and only one in Dec/Jan so fingers crossed. I am getting fed up with ESA, I must admit. It is so frustrating applying and then seeing them dissappear from the applications .

  • When you are doing a restaurant shop, is it normal to be reimbursed for all the items that are specified in the brief? I realise that drinks etc won't be reimbursed but would all meals and starters that you are required to buy for the shopper and their companion be reimbursed? What is everyone's experience with this one?

Depends who its with.. it should be in your brief... some pay a set amount and if you go over you pay the extra, some only pay for one person but you can take a guest at your expense, some you have to eat alone..:(
should all be written in the paperwork that you have.
