Actually I'd say it matters a lot who their clients are, I imagine this company is global but just in the UK they have lost a bookies and failed to gain a fast food sandwich place recently. If a certain burger client is putting the squeeze on and demanding the work is done globally for less, they could find themselves in some trouble. Or, it could just be "admin problems" and there is no problem at all. ;)

Didn't realise they had lost the bookies. Haven't seen them with another ms company. Just assumed they were having a break from being shopped.

Right at the top of the survey summary (after clicking on the visit ID) it says open worksheet. That has questions and you can print it off.

DUH!!!! Thanks, I saw all the other forms but didn't realise the worksheet was at the top.
  • I am just rushing out to do a couple of death jobs and I have discovered that they have different scenarios. Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I don't have time to read the posts and just popped on to give you a heads up!
  • RE: Gap pay. I don't mind if they want to change the date for payment. Just wish they said upfront that they wanted to do this rather than use excuse after excuse. They aren't doing themselves any favours though as it doesn't inspire people to do jobs for them if there is a likelihood that they may not get paid.

Exactly. And it's the fact that they mention the delayed dates on the website and give certain "problems" as an excuse causes people like me to wonder and spread rumours about other underlying problems :o.
  • Hi- TMDC have just launched a new website for their diners with a forum on where you can actually discuss things- I think. Anyway, it looks like they are changing a few things like the way they do diner points etc. I haven't been working for them for very long but I like them- they are a bit more human than some of the others imo.

They could save themselves a fortune in phone calls if they made note of what the shopper says when they ring.. I've had 5 calls now for the same urgent job, which I've told each and everyone that it is too far and I can't do it at that time.... I think they have just moved the payday personally.:)
If they made the burger jobs a bit more attractive then there wouldn't be such a problem shifting them- it feels a bit sad to sit in alone.

    Thanks for posting this.

A classic assumption when MSing is that each job for the same client is the same each wave. NEVER assume this if you want to get paid. Another example of where you must read every brief you get.

Having said my bit this morning I am now off for a highly lucrative afternoons MSing. Mainly jobs that haven't been completed to the brief first time round. So thanks to all those who messed up ...my fees are more than yours!

P.s Not normally so crabby and will always help if I can.

It's quite a good revamp. There are a couple of notable bugs I've run into already, but on the whole it's jolly :)
  • Hi,
I'm thinking about trying mystery shopping. I came across a mystery shopper agency which is just called "UK Mystery Shopper Employment Agency". Is anyone their member? I noticed they weren't mentioned at the beginning of thread.

What ever you do, don't pay anyone to get registered as a mystery shopper. Read the first few pages of this thread. It will tell you about all the legitimate companies to sign up with and a host of other useful information.
