This might sound like a stupid question but if like a muppet I went to the petrol station on the wrong side of the road and I was not paid for an assignment, can I still claim for the milage and minimum spend on my tax return?0

For example, I went to work at 4pm yesterday and by time I got in and checked thread it had already grown about 5 pages. By the response, it seems I'm not the only one not to read back and check the threads!
*sighs, rant over*
We all lead busy lives, and haven't always got time to keep checking what's been posted on here, BUT, It doesn't take long to read a couple of pages of posts. There's so much information on here, most questions have already been asked, and it it is tiresome when we keep reading the same questions over and over again, because somebody can't be bothered to keep up to date with what has already been posted...0 -
Invoiced jobs aren't due to be paid until a little later - i *think*.
Ring them, they're really nice and I'm sure they'll explain whats happened. They really REALLY don't like their work being talked about.
Thanks - didn't think I was saying any more than anyone else had (no job details etc...), but I will keep it zipped!
Will give it a few days and give them a ring0 -
Anyone receiving an email from RE about joining as a "dedicated mystery shopper" to look after a whole area? I don't like them that much but I'm sure they'd be willing to give more leaway (sp?) in completing jobs.
They don't mention the pay but said it would be the same as a normal job but more of them (yawn!).0 -
I think the 'not having time to read back over the pages' is a valid enough excuse if we are talking about stuff mentioned a few days ago..... but, does it really take long to check posts for 'today' for your answer?
Probably takes you longer to ask the question, than it would to skim read a couple of pages.
I know TG has her faults (the main one being an Ips*it Town supporter), but she has every right to have a moan if people can't be bothered to read recent advice given on here in response to the same question being asked again and again.
(Rant not over, cos I am not ranting, I am calm, children are back at school)0 -

Totally agree kman. Before TG gets carted off by men in white coats.
If you go onto any other forum on MSE such as credit cards or whatever you wouldn't just dive in an post "What is the best credit card" You would read through it and see if your query has already been answered. post internet forums on any subject have FAQ's. FAQ's are dsigned to prevent constant repetition which a) slows sites down and b) makes them boring.
I have seen on her people posting RE website is down ( rare I know) and 10 people jump in and say "It isn't working for me either" Now all the additional posts saying it isn't working don't add anything useful.. What would be useful is when someone CAN log on again to say it is working.
Sometimes you get double posts as 2 people answer a question at the same time. That isn't what we mean.
Now when posting a query use the Post title function. If people used that more people could more easily skim through threads.
No wonder TG tairs her hair out. A while back it was constant how do I add clients to Abai.
I am off out just now but later I will contact TG to add another FAQ's with tips in which I could include better use of the forum.
If there is anything you want included tell me and I will do it.Clique member no 1.:D0
