I've done about 25 jobs over the last couple of months for them and I deal with 2 people in particular (not sure whether they look after the clients or this area iyswim) but they are always lovely and are really helpful.

Applied for 48 this cycle and have been allocated none. They've been ringing me all day wanting me to do an urgent job that someone has dropped. It's in a very remote village so although it's only about 15 miles on paper, it takes ages to get there due to all the little country lanes. I don't see why I should help them out if they won't give me work I apply for, so I haven't been answering the phone or returning their messages

Why don't you tell them how you feel? You might get a response from them that could shed some light for all of us regarding how on earth they allocate their jobs.

Hello all,can anyone tell me if you can do the same egg shop twice in a row please as ive been allocated some near my home but am wondering if I would qualify for the next wave,thanks.
Also does anyone on here feel sorry for the people we actually mystery shop,ie how would you feel if you knew someone was coming in to "test" you etc. I know they should all provide good service but I wonder how many staff member have been made to look so small for a small mistake which has affected their rating/bonus.
Also has anyone ever done a shop only to discover you know the person behind the desk/counter,I did a bank job two weeks ago went to the counter and was directed to someone else,that some one else was a friend of the wifes who she knows quite well, I know you are not supposed to take these jobs but hey I didnt know,good job she did an excellent job,because if she had not then what would I have done I know you are meant to be objective etc but what would you do?

nope you can't you will still see them next month but won't let you apply

I think most companies usually state to abandon the job as discretely as possible if you realise you know any of the staff? Think that is what I would do in the circumstances.

Only problem I have had was recently bumping into a close friend in a supermarket and the friend saying very loudly "Are you mystery shopping again?!" - friends like that who needs enemies!
