Grrrrr. To be honest, i half expected the call. Now i'll have to wait over a week for my new moby *sigh*.
No, MSing today as waiting for the washing machine repair man to arrive. Guess i should crack on with the housework.
Have a good one .
I had to pay this too. Really annoying, but it did mean I had a few months contract free later on.
Would you like to come round and do my housework?? Please!0 -
So much for... "RINGIN GAP IS SACKABLE OFFENCE OMGGG!!"
Well...I've not had the email yet, and I've called them several times.
Was on way to a last-minute-extra-fee motorway burger job and traffic was bad and I was at risk of missing the timeslot. Called whilst on the road and asked if they could change it to an evening slot, and they did so and were very grateful for me calling rather than simply cancelling.
I guess it depends how good a relationship I have with them. I don't do a massive amount of work for them, only maybe 10 per month, sometimes not even that, but I nearly always take last-minute jobs from them which I suppose helps me avoid the sack, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.0 -

I also have an Australian phone number or two, which I use in times of dire emergency. I use them with some trepidation, though, and always wait for an aftermath! So far, I have been lucky.
Do we all feel as if we are "on borrowed time" with Gap?:)0 -

Definitely! I know I have at least one strike against my name but to be honest I'm a little bit sick of eating fast food!0 -
Hi someone in here last week mentioned that Amber Arch email would be Monday morning. I've checked today's posts and it has not been mentioned and I have not received it. Wanted to know if it has been sent and received by others (I keep having delayed emails). Thanks in advance0

I agree the TNS jobs without mileage are rubbish and just not worth doing. I have taken a few coffee shop visits this month as they are places I was going to for other reasons as its the hols but when the fee does not even cover the mileage let alone the parking they are not worth while.
Also a TNS query - after the horrid email they sent out last week I emailed them back to confirm something but I have not had a response and I do not want to cancel a job unnecessarily. I had a supermarket booked for beginning of April which is still showing in my account. I then took the same supermarket last minute (March) when someone released it. I had presumed the system would automatically delete one or the other of the jobs. I completed the first one, report is in and I have had pay advice so is it ok for me to complete the one in April or should they have cancelled it? As said I have emailed them to find out but as I have not had a response I presume that means it is ok but wanted to check if anyone else has been in the same position and definitely got paid for the work. I also do not want to cancel it myself after the horrid email. Thanks again.0 -

It's ridiculous
This is a simple query where one used to be able to just make a quick call!!!!
I personally would just go ahead an do it.0 -

It's being sent this morning. I just had a call regarding something else and asked about it0 -
Further to discussion on here yesterday, I have had the following reply from Max:-
"We are working on a pending apps page as we speak, if all testing goes to plan, it should be live tomorrow. I will let you know."
Certainly sounds as if they listen, and act. Look forward to working with them.0
