Must remember to check if my bank charges for euro payments if I get any.

I was allocated a couple of jobs for them last week, and when I looked it up in their FAQ's it said they pay in Euros for everyone apart from us Brits, who get paid in £££ :D

    Hiya Peeps,

Just a local pet shop for me today after RE phoned me. I told them why I rarely take work for them anymore and they offered a double fee  I asked if she had been drinking :rotfl:

    RE:Euros into Banks.

Nationwide Cashbuilder Savings Account don't charge for deposits made in Euros or dollars.

I've been getting payments into the account for a couple of years ow from companies across the pond :)

Are you sure it was a call from RE and not a prank call, MrS? ;)

MrS's post reminded me: Abbey were charging me for $ and Euro payments (I complained lots). Now they are Santander they are not charging. TGirl -can you please amend your list to show this?

    Pizza delivery ordered........stopwatch started:cool:

Mine to... suspect we are going to be eating left overs for a week, we were feeling greedy so went for a large pizza and the side order (for two!!) but the guy taking the order said it was going to be cheaper to get a second side order so I ordered something else.

Not sure how this is going to work out for the report but it would have looked very strange if I had said no :D

Just a point to note - I've done several of the dine in pizza assignments for Gyp and the have all had a time of after 4pm. Just noticed one booked for next week is 11:30-14:30 and its not a lunchtime buffet one.

Better check any you have booked just incase you're as daft as me :D

Just a point to note - Alliance and Leicester are now Santander and they DO still charge. Although they're not taking the name on until 28th May 2010 so it may be that after that they won't charge.

Maybe Abbey/Sandtander stopped charging me because I complained so much. One month I had six separate $/euro deposits, all with charges, so I went into a branch with my whole year's foreign currency transaction slips.

Just make a comment in the comment box at the end and say exactly that .. you ordered what was required, the MOS said it was cheaper to get the meal deal and it would have appeared strange to say "Oh no, I want to pay more for less food!" I think I've done this on every single pizza shed job and never had a query.
