Absolute disaster of a job!!! I got booted out before I even pressed submit on my first answer. Why? Because I took my glasses off to read the on-screen instructions. That counts as cheating, since if you take off your glasses it means you don't need them and your glasses then become a personal item which you aren't allowed to take in with you! Official took my glasses away from me, frog marched me out, tore me off a strip and made me feel like a three-year-old. At least I couldn't see the guy's angry face because I didn't have my glasses on (he was using them to gesticulate at me).:rotfl:

    Glowing report? No way.

I felt like saying: "nah nah nah nah nah, guess what I've got in my pocket!" But I didn't!

Just thought I'd fill you in on this in case it has the potential to happen to anyone else.

That's dreadful. The people at mine were polite and professional, and I was out of there 5 mins after being not let back in. He even took me aside to tell me privately.

Maybe I just have a more innocent air than you? :rotfl:;)Mind you I couldn't even find the 'submit' button!

I have an Android phone. I was a bit unsure of it to start with but I have grown to love it :)

Not heard of the Android phone . Sounds vaguely sinister :p. Have been reading all the phone posts with interest as my mobile battery is dying on me. Will be googling 'Android phone' forthwith! :D.

    Hiya coffee,

This is a really good company with good fees (although you didn't say they wer'nt :))

All you have to do is give your panel manager a ring (tel number at bottom of email you got when accepted),Even though they are in Europe it's a UK call.

Introduce yourself and say you are available for work. My panel manager told me to call her every now and then if my applications dry up because she does forget.

    Good Luck

Android is google's operating system - it's really good. I've got a Sony ericsson Satio (symbian operating system). Great camera, email push, decent browser. Not so many apps available. I'd recommend it if you can get one at a decent price. Orange stopped doing the Nokia I wanted (N97 mini). Look at htc hero if you don't want to go the iphone route.

Oh Noooo, My OH found out I had been researching the iphone 32gb on payg at over 500 quid this morning............:o I said I was only looking ;)

He went crazy and said he wanted the same to spend on himself

Our budget can't afford that so I've shelved the iphone idea for now:rotfl:

I've got the 8gb 3G and its great for MSing, only draw back is it gets a little bit slow when its full of crisps so you need to keep clearing them off when you download them to the PC :D

I think the 32gb one is maybe overkill? Just my opinion :) depends on what you're planning to use it for really.

I agree, it might be overkill but just thought the room was there if I did put films on etc. It's only the push email I want really so loadsa other phones can do that. It was with all this smartphone chat on here this week that got me salivating :)

I currently have (by choice) an old Nokia 3330 and carry my lil 8 mp camera for M'sing. It's the email I want without having to switch on my netbook all the time when I'm out.
