That sounds awful! Although at least it didn't take too much of your time.

Today you will find me in John Lewis all day. It's way too early to be up on a Saturday. Even my cat is resisting getting up, he's blocking the exit from the bed.

No such luck! It possibly took longer than most - I was in the place for nearly 2 hours (I had to wait for ages while the official wrote his report).:(

Hope you have a good day in JL. I'm going to more places than I care to think about at this point.

I've just had such a blonde moment. I'm doing two jobs today for a "new to me" company.....and I just couldn't get logged into their site. Cue panic!

Turns out I've been frantically trying to log into Retail Maxim (the linky on the first page is not working by the way)........and the jobs are actually with Retail Active. :o:o

This afternoon, I'm going to Glasgow not for work! Such decadence! Though I'm secretly hoping I get one of those extra fee calls everyone talks about. I've never had any such a phonecall.

I'm also going to try to buy a smartphone. I've been watching the chat on here with interest. Think it will be the Nokia E63 or N97 though I'll see what O2 have on offer. I'm currently with Virgin but the reception where I working is non existent.

    Anyway, happy MS-ing to all!

Looks like I missed another round of jobs that came up last night. God knows what I was doing - there wasn't even any wine involved!. Having a family weekend cos I feel I have been neglecting the little ones - if I'm not MSing, then I'm hogging the computer looking for work, or doing ED stuff. So we've got football practise, then a ball park, then I've got a couple of cinema audits. Tomorrow is football match, supermarket audit then swimming baths I think. Should keep me in the good books for a little while longer:rotfl:

Absolute disaster of a job!!! I got booted out before I even pressed submit on my first answer. Why? Because I took my glasses off to read the on-screen instructions. That counts as cheating, since if you take off your glasses it means you don't need them and your glasses then become a personal item which you aren't allowed to take in with you! Official took my glasses away from me, frog marched me out, tore me off a strip and made me feel like a three-year-old. At least I couldn't see the guy's angry face because I didn't have my glasses on (he was using them to gesticulate at me).:rotfl:

    Glowing report? No way.

I felt like saying: "nah nah nah nah nah, guess what I've got in my pocket!" But I didn't!

Just thought I'd fill you in on this in case it has the potential to happen to anyone else.
That's a difficult one. It sounds to me as though the Official is a bit of a jobsworth and maybe a wee bit afraid that there might be a mystery shopper about to catch him out. Seems reasonable to wear distance specs to find the room etc and then take them off for close up work. :rotfl:

Enjoy your day out and I hope the rain stays away for you.

I have an Android phone. I was a bit unsure of it to start with but I have grown to love it :)
