So much for self allocation with ESA........working for some but not everyone :mad::mad:
I lost 7 jobs last night three miles away, one was a very large fee, the others each respectable fee for the assignment brief.
I clicked on apply, no self allocation came up, they went into my apps box and had all gone out of the apps box first thing this morning.
ESA are saying it should have been working for me........... well I know that I said :eek: but it doesn't help now I've lost over £....quid.
I know we should expect teething problems but with work being quiet, we can't afford to lose the money especially a whole days pay.0 -
Hello all,
I'm a long time watcher but a first time poster, started up mystery shopping late last year as I'm on a gap year (off to uni next year) and work really has dried up the end of this month! I was just wondering if anyone could recommend me some companies that do the age restricted mystery shopping (ie challenge 21 / 25) Ive found this to be a very lucrative market as it doesn't seem there's many 18yr old mystery shoppers around like me!The ones that Ive found so far are TNS (supermarket jobs) and ESA (petrol station jobs) and another company I work for that I've never seen mentioned on here are Serve Legal, they're particularly good specialising in challenge 25 and they tend to have plenty of work across the country most months (and if any 18/19yr old are looking to join feel free to mention I pointed you there way
:D). React wanted me to do a job the other day but they wanted me to buy and use fake ID so I declined that not wanting to get arrested!
So, does anyone know of any other companies who want to employ youngsters like me?
thanks0 -

Welcome to the forum, I'm and old time shopper but new also.
I think you have listed all the companies that I know who do the think programmes.
Just picked up on the latter part of your post about fake ID.
I have cheat in an exam on Tuesday, lol.....first one for me is this. I have done a few theft scenarios in the past though, they are really funny.
Good Luck0 -
just had TNS application accepted!
Think I am signed up to about 15 companies now so hoping to get some work booked for April!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

oh what a shame! Especially with them being so close to you and you doign so much work for ESA. There were still 7 on there first thing this morning though!
I was going to apply for the pharmacy jobs on REACT but didn't think they were worth it but I should of as I'm near there doing these ESA jobs!
So annoying when you decide not to take a jobs or two cos it's not worth it distance wise and then a few more pop up but the first lot have gone!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Don't hold your breath Glam....;)
It's eerily quite, I have very little booked from most of the companies for April, I'd say 50% less than usual at this time of month. Thank god for my bread and butter work with PIP and another comp.
Good luck though as I'm also hoping for plenty of more work coming in.0 -

I know, anyway, onwards and upwards, no good crying over...etc
I'm doing 5 of those chemist jobs for react on Tuesday like you, I'm in a town doing other work so it made it worth it. It is frustrating when you turn work down then realise you could have done it.
Your doing great though as a new shopper as it is so keep it up chuck :A0 -
Aw I feel bad that I got 6 jobs and you didn't
At least you got the pharmacy jobs! There was 9 on there (2 in Wigan) but I couldsn't justify doing all 9 jobs for such little profit once I'd driven over 50 miles! Plus there is only so much of that product I could store :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Its good to see that I am not the only shopper who gets accused of being a transvestite
:rotfl::rotfl: was the member of staff wearing a dress? :rotfl::rotfl:
Are you sure you guess the gender right? Some companies ask if all staff are clean shaven... I once put all the male staff were clean shaven...and it was queried...:rotfl:0 -

I agree since the self allocation system has come into play I haven't had a single job...before the self allocation I was able to pick up half a dozen jobs a week...:(0
