Unfortunately there are no deals to be had on iphones. Apple sets the tarrifs and the shops have to follow them. The only way to get a discount is on the insurance. Shop around. Orange I think charges £12 a month but O2 a lot less. I fancy one too. I was promised one for Christmas from my hubby. I'm still waiting!

Of course!!! Great idea. The iphone doesn't have the best camera, but it's just about readable.

Got my iPhone 10 days ago and am sooooo in love with it. I only wanted the 16GB but they didn't have one, the only one left in the shop was a 32GB white one so I said "I'll have it" ... haven't told hubby how much it cost me!!

I've got it on a £30 a month contract but am going to put most of that through as expenses for my MS-ing as I will be using it while I am out and about to check email, log onto sites etc.

Oh ... and Carphone warehouse's iPhone insurance was a couple of quid cheaper than O2's
All mine are still pending. I wish i knew to i can work out how much exercise i have to do to burn off all those cake lol (the OH has kindley offered to help)
No React coffee in my area although I did go into said store in Bluewater today and had a gorgeous roasted hazelnut skinny latte!

Did you get a new iPhone recently TG? Only, you don't seem to have said anything about it at all. :D

I would be completely lost without my iphone, saves my life on a daily occasion!

For example, today whilst I was out, I was able to get instant email alerts regarding MS work, was able to log in to sites quickly using bookmarks and self-allocate.
I was then able to locate the nearest bus stop to my location, check the bus time and hop on. I then used my iphone to pinpoint the exact location of a shop in a different town, I used the "Notes" feature to record time in, time out, exterior details etc. Oh, and not to mention, for RE jobs the camera works fine, and isnt too obvious!
I then could use the split time facility to time service, and then travel back home, using the facebook app for entertainment on the boring bus ride home.

And, when you are doing burger jobs for Gap, the client has Wi-fi which is free for o2 iPhone users, so I can even submit a report whilst at the location, and no-one knows any different, it just looks like I'm using my phone.

Like I said, it saves my life :) :T:T

I doubt you'd get paid as you didn't really go out of your way except to attempt to make a phone call.

I'm wondering if I should just release it then so I don't get somehow marked down for failing to complete it...with RE so no idea what they're like.

I think it will go against you if you releae it. Give them a ring tomorrow and explain. They're usually alright on the phone for something like that. I had a problem once where I accepted a landside visit but it turned out that it was airside and I obviously couldn't do it. I had checked before I left home though so I wasn't out of pocket. They just took it off my schedule. No penalties incurred.

I havent seen any jobs for my area for a while, and havent had any contact from them in ages :(

I'm the same. I log in and there aren't any jobs, yet I've had a couple of phone calls lately asking if I could complete visits for them. Unfortunately it is hard to answer my mobile at work which means I've missed out on jobs. :(

TG – I know you love coffee, but a word of advice: do not drink a lot. It has been scientifically proven that drinking too much coffee is bad for your health.

Just as it's been "scientifically" proven that drinking several cups a day is good for your health ;)
