  • ok, got my first supermarket audit job (two actually)

One question. If for some reason i find a large amount of the 'wrong product', will it not look a little strange when i walk to the till with one product but 20 of them lol

It says to be careful about not showing who you are but if i walk to the till with e.g. 30 choc bars will this not look a little odd?

Anybody ever had to do this.

You've evidently not worked in retail ;) Customers are weird. So long as you're paying for the items rather than trying to shoplift them no one should bat an eyelid - if anyone asks you explain that your parent/partner/child/flatmate/etc will eat nothing else.

Go to the self-service tills, not so obvious!

Go for the self service! However I've found I only ever need to buy a couple of these max. If you feel worried about it say you're putting a big dinner on. For soup I'd say they've all decided they want starters or something like that. Not something I'd offer up when I'm being served, but useful to have some kind of story incase they decide to make casual conversation.

Or another good one for soup is that you're having a wisdom tooth out and will need soft things to eat!

Thank you. I can just imagen my first job having to cart a shelf full of products through the till and getting very odd looks.

It says they may or may not want the items back. Do they often ask for them back?
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Something very odd has just happened. I was applying for some jobs on ESA and suddenly, the jobs and my apps disappeared:(

Glad to see everything has calmed down on here now..! I missed all the fun as my pc blew my electrics during the nite and is now as dead as a dodo.. after a visit to a well known computer store (shame not ms'ing..) i'm now £500 poorer.... and still have to sort out my internet connection/printer and camera before I can start ms'ing to pay for it...! Am borrowing DD's laptop in the interim.. will hopefully be back up and running at full speed next week...!

Hope so anyway's as I have a nice fish restaurant booked for mid week and am very excited at getting one of the gym assignments... timings perfect as the membership run's almost to my holiday date and I can take DD for some of it...

Can't offer any advice about eggs, crisps, mushrooms or soup... although put them together and I'm sure you can make a great meal...!:)

  • I was MSing a supermarket today and as I was finishing my covert availability check there came an announcement over the speaker:

'All staff to checkout for a rumble'

Other customers didn't seem to bat an eyelid but I'm pretty sure the staff had me rumbled!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Awww, I have got my first jobs with ESA, (thanks everyone on here!) 5 pharmacy ones, are they as complicated as the brief seems to be?!!
