    Hi all

Has anyone had a problem submitting to RE. I wrote the report , downloaded the photo of store and one of receipt but cannot submit . Keep getting the response that I need to download images but they are both clearly showing.
Have phoned and emailed RE but being the weekend no reply.

Just want it sorted now as I have a very busy day on Monday and wont have time to deal with it then.

You have probably sorted this by now, but if it won't submit, copy and paste the whole thing into an email & send it to them. At the beginning of the email, tell them the website won't let you submit despite completing the questionnaire and receipt/image uploads and TELL them (nicely) to accept this as submission and to please close the assignment from their end.

I have done this several times in the past and never had any query. I have done the same with GYP too when there have been problems. I will try and submit a couple of times but if it won't go and I am sure that I have done everything, I won't spend hours trying, they don't pay enough!

In pure frustration, I recently filled every comment box to bursting (e.g. for no queues, I gave an account of numbers of customers in store and where they were, numbers of checkouts open/closed, number of staff visible and what they were doing, time I approached checkout, what I saw when I got there, etc.). I attempted to put a minimum of five sentences in each comment box, then put the whole lot together as the summary (!) of visit.

[poke in the eye] @ proofreader!! I didn't get any queries

I have word open when I do their questionnaires and use copy and paste. If they want to ask the same question 9 times, they can have the same answer 9 times :D. I do like your style better though lol, I just don't have the patience with them!!!

I've done 6 jobs today and only one has gone nicely. 2x mobile phones - SAs in both seriously couldn't be bothered. One had a seriously sarcastic gob on him and was amazed that I wanted help. The other just pointed at a couple of phones & told me either of those would do - end of job (seriously!) . 1x holiday shop where SA just quoted for hol in a hotel without asking any questions or opinions - just give her this & she'll go away syndrome. Lunch that was just like school dinners of old. Electrical store where the SA couldn't wait to abandon me after telling me how to read the product info on the sales tickets so I could make an informed choice .

Is it a full moon or has the world ganged up on me today :(. Mind you, the RE report was easy - copy, paste. copy, paste. copy, paste :D.

The plus was that we had a lovely meal out tonight, which was pretty much faultless :T.

You have made a good decision with the Samsung netbook- it has a nice keyboard like the laptop. However, you should know free wifi is a hacker's paradise. Most wifi uses a cheap and nasty encryption system called WEP which a hacker can break into in a couple of minutes. There is a better system called WAP but you won't find your local burger joint using it. It is possible to buy software to protect yourself if it bothers you.

Thanks for that Chris. I did install Failsafe but how much that will protect me I am not sure. It does worry me a bit as I obviously will have all my MS'ing sites on it and they contain my bank details.

Can't figure out yet how to get my emails. I have outlook express on my desktop pc at home but you can't download that anymore as far as I can see. I have put Thunderbird on it but it didn't ask my email address so cannot figure how that works.

Thanks for your help and advice. I appreciate it very much.

Just make sure that you have the firewall on in Windows and you should be fine. You should be able to access your email on Webmail. Which email provider do you use?

BT Molly. The problem with BT Yahoo mail is you get hundreds of spam in between genuine emails. On my desktop it gets put into the spam filter.

Pearl .. I've asked Hubby ... he says in Thunderbird you need to go:

    - Tools

    - Account settings

    - Got through and copy details from your other machine

    Should work!!

Only 23 jobs booked so far.

Ive got a bit of free time and was looking at the backpacker stylee hotels on RE, a lot of them are quite close together and I was thinking of a bit of a free holiday up in Gods country.

Has anyone done these before? There is obviously a reason they are still sitting there.

:T:T You don't get as many as deedee as she did the 16 in one day.. 22 in two is very impressive mind...! I found 10 a week on top of full time work toooo many so cut back to 5... well tried to... there seem's to be lots of work around, at least in my area, I have to ration myself..!!! Even picked up a ... gasp... RE job, but the fee was twice what you get from gyp, I'll just start practising my 'repeat' comments...!
I work Monday-Thursday at my 'proper' job too so although I'll do the odd job on a lunchtime or evening the majority of MS work has to fit in on a weekend. This weekend ended up so busy as a company asked me to do ten jobs this weekend but luckily I could fit them into where I was going anyway. Quite a lucrative two days but very tiring!
