You know, if Gyp allowed children to attend burger jobs, they wouldn't have nearly as much of a problem assigning them. I haven't taken my littles for months, and have told them that I'll take them tomorrow when we have a fun morning out, as the older children are away for the night. You would think that I had promised them the moon......

Speaking of kids, has anyone ever compiled a list of the clients for each particular company that allow you to take children with you. I know that it can change with each brief, but now that I am single it's becoming more of an issue to do the "alone" shops.

You're totally right. They often call me to do jobs late afternoon or weekends and it's impossible 'cos I'd have to take the kids. We wouldn't stick out as much like a sore thumb as we do now!

Someone - was it on here? - did a burger report and the timings were lousy becuase the member of staff (the manager, I think!!) either took a phone call or chatted to a friend in the middle of serving. She then disputed the report, saying the MS-er had a pram with her so the visit was invalid!!!!

Yes, they need to know how quickly single people are being served, but surely they also need to know how long families wait? I'm sure families must be one of their biggest customer groups!

How does it feel going through life being Miss perfect. Spreading your rays of sunshine and sprinkling us all on here with happy dust.

Did you go to one of those finishing schools in Switzerland or were you just born that way.

Nup wasn't me that got the jobs. They phoned me an hour ago asking if I will do a travel agent. It is my local one so I said I would do it. I said "Oh funny that I applied for that very one and didn't get it" Oh she said someone else got it but didn't do it. "Oh well" I said maybe you need to look at allocating jobs to shoppers that have never let you down"

    :mad::eek::mad:

HP that lets you off the hook again :D:D:D
Well done:T:T:T:T for telling them as it really is & shame on them for 'Giving excessive amount of jobs to certain people' & then being let down by these same shoppers that are allocated the 'jobs'

Realistically think need to rethink their 'gameplan'

Well RE got back to me about the job that didn't have the number to call to record it.

It's a competitors job so it doesn't need to be recorded.

That's great - I don't have to make the call at all - I'll make it all up like I did last time!!!!

    (Don't flame me - I AM JOKING!!!!!!)

OH TG you wouldn't would youoooooooooooooo :eek::eek::eek:
You are very brave saying that on hereeeeeeeeeeeeee:D:D:D:D

New to all this and have read the posts about REs payments and on line questionnaires. I did a job yesterday which took me 15 mins but the form took another 60 mins. Then I worked out my costs aswell and I lost over £3, never mind the time I have lost. I think I need to plan which jobs I take with a bit more care in future!!!
Bookies tomorrow so I hope I can win back the money I have lost!

I mainly pick jobs where I lose money, hairdressers, restaurants, pubs - no tax that way!

ETA: Sorry should have said where I "lose" money ;)
