I have had a week off from mystery shopping and went away for a few days and its been lovely
I am now ready to get back to mystery shopping. I’ve been allocated 8 eggs jobs so that’s a good start.
Thanks for advice re pictures I spend ages last week trying to compress every individual picture and zipping them.

They mainly do merchandising and auditing visits. I used to get a fair bit of work from them, but then they organised some teams of people that get first dibs of the work. I applied but they were looking for full time people and I can only work mornings.
I've hardly had any work from them since then, apart from the supermarket jobs. I can't do them anymore as it's a reveal job, so the local stores know who I am. I've even been asked when I've called in for personal odds and ends, "oh are you not mystery shopping us today?":rotfl:

I apply for everything I can do at the time of application, but if something better comes along before they have been assigned, I cancel my application.
Sometimes I'll pick a handful of jobs in an area which will make a nice little route, but if I only get allocated one, I don't accept it as it's not worth it.Here I go again on my own....0 -
Oh flip, I've been allocated 9 egg jobs! That's 54 eggs ... ok, so scrambled Mon, omlettes Tues, fried Wednesday .... eek!0

Just had an email from bare containing the following:
"Meanwhile we are confronted with some disturbing news, which we would like to check with you.
Several mystery shoppers have reported to us that they are being contacted systematically by a new company, Helion Market Research. This company was established by a couple of former employees from our company. We are currently investigating whether they are using confidential information from Bare.
Our question: help us and let us know if you too have been contacted by Helion Market Research. A short e-mail is sufficient.
This will help us to safeguard the future of Bare. And so we will be able to continue our good collaboration for many more years!"
Talk about sour grapes.0 -
Although I do understand some of their concern after the incident with our details potentially being shared that we were all up in arms about last year, either way not sure how they're so worried about a company who as yet don;t appear to have any clients in the UK.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Talk about sour grapes.
Not really sour grapes - If former employees have taken contact details without permission, that's theft and probably breach of contract involved as well...0 -
On a technical level there would more than likley be a breach of data protection.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0

Absolutely it is. I have pretty significant doubts about how plausible that is though - it sounds more like petty jealousy to me.0 -
It's always worth trying to negotiate extra jobs when Gyp come begging. I have bagged 3 little supermarkets as an incentive!0

I also got the email from Bare. Thought it quite amusing!
If the founders of Helion have nicked our details from their time at Bare then they could well be in breach of Data Protection legislation and their contracts with Bare. Serious stuff I guess.
In reality of course, Bare want us to email them to say that we've been approached by Helion with a view to proving that the vast majority of Helion's shoppers have been acquired through records nicked from Bare. Personally I won't be replying to the email. I look forward to seeing what Helion brings, if anything!0
