just got 3 e** jobs. best is they turned my application down for one as it dissapeared. cancelled the other two as wasn't worth it. then the orriginal one popped up again. applied for all three and get it

I wonder if its to do with the deal posters that are in the windows, my local 1 always has lots of offers advertised in the window, if thats the case i'll take a look @ them on the way to the other job.

It looks like the briefing notes are still to go on. There should be links for your questionnaire and also for a crib sheet with the things to look out for. The offers you need to look for change from week to week so probably still to be updated. Look out for the red signs on the shelves highlighting the offers. Not all items to be checked will be on offer though. It can vary from one shop to the other.

Just got allocated 4 eggs jobs - the furthest two one way and the furtherest two in the opposite direction! 4 still pending and 4 allocated elsewhere.

No eggs for me, or paint jobs, or drinks audits, or household stores . I am just about to cancel the couple that are left just in case I get them as they are the furthest away, and I can't be [STRIKE]ar*ed[/STRIKE] (sorry, bothered ) to travel that far if they can't be bothered to give me at least 1 local job.

There was 1 drink job that I literally could have walked to in my village, and that went to someone else, and also 1 that was a 3 minute drive. God only knows where their logic is!!

Got 2 more egg jobs, 3 still pending. None in my home town though, so will be driving around lots next Saturday!

Didn't get the paint one I applied for which is about 2 minutes away from my workplace, nor the gold one, which is also very close.

I was beginning to think there were no other shoppers in my area, but I guess that's not the case. I seem to get all the egg jobs I apply for - maybe the competition doesn't like eggs :rotfl:

Aww, sorry Squidge. I'm the guilty party with the eggs but didn't apply for the audits or paint.

No probs Pennies, I'm not bothered really to be honest as I have enough on my plate with my Dad at the moment. I would just love to know where they're coming from when they allocate (along with everyone else on here of course, lol!!!).

Will pop round next week for an omelette or pancakes then if that's ok .

I honestly dont think its a case of 'coming out' but I suspect most of us work out who's in their areas in a fairly organic manner, just from chatting on here. I know I have a pretty good idea of who are the ''competition'' in both my home area and the area I plan to move to later on in the year - but I choose not to plaster my location on the internet, one of the things my casual employer is very hot on is personal security, in some ways prehaps I'm backward in that I won't use my real name online anywhere and thats an extension of that?
